In honor of National Senior Independence Month, Florida Chief Financial Officer Jimmy Patronis pays tribute to Florida’s seniors, a generation that has made valuable contributions to their families, their communities and society. Independence is an important aspect for all ages, but especially for seniors. Seniors are taking charge of their independence and advocating for their fellow seniors. A part of independence includes financial independence. CFO Patronis works continually to protect seniors’ finances from individuals that plot to scam and defraud them.
