Phase II Implemented of the Bureau of Licensing's Paperless Initiative
The Bureau of Licensing recently implemented phase II of its paperless initiative.
As part of this phase, e-mail notifications will be sent when applications
are submitted through
Mi Perfil informing
the applicant it was received
and provide status updates of the application as it moves through
the review and approval process.
In addition, an e-mail notification will be sent to the licensee when a continuing education course
completion hours are posted to their transcript or the license
requirements are satisfied for their compliance period. There will also be an e-mail notification sent to all licensees reminding them of their continuing education requirement.
This second phase follows the first implemented in September 2009, which included converting the majority of the paper correspondence to electronic correspondence and making it available online at the Department’s
Mi Perfil website.
Phase I represented much quicker communication with you, our
licensees, and resulted in significant cost savings to the Department in reduced mailing and supply costs.
