In Florida, We Care About the Bottom Line

This week, I met with officials in the financial services sector in New York, to highlight Florida's economy and encourage investments in the Sunshine State. I was also thrilled to be invited onto CNBC's Squawk Box, to speak about my concerns with ESG standards, and how Florida is working to crackdown on the ratings system. We discussed Florida's divestment from Blackrock, and how in Florida, we are only interested in dealing with partners in the financial services industry who are committed to the bottom line.

Additionally, I encourage everyone to check for unclaimed property if they haven't already. Last month alone, we put $26 million back into the pockets of Florida families and businesses, and this month we are looking to return even more. Florida currently has unclaimed property accounts with a total value of nearly $2.7 billion, and I encourage everyone to check and see if any of it is theirs.
