CFO Jimmy Patronis: Honoring Florida’s Outstanding Veterans

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Today, Florida Chief Financial Officer (CFO) and State Fire Marshal Jimmy Patronis honored Florida’s outstanding veterans during the Florida Department of Veterans’ Affairs (FDVA) Veterans Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony at the Florida State Capitol.

CFO Jimmy Patronis said, “I was honored today to help recognize an outstanding group of Florida veterans who served our great country and now selflessly serve in our communities every day. We must continue to do everything we can to ensure Florida remains the most veteran friendly state in the nation. Thanks to FDVA Executive Director Danny Burgess for his leadership and support of Florida’s veterans and congratulations to all of our Florida Veterans' Hall of Fame inductees.”

FDVA Executive Director Danny Burgess said, “Congratulations to the Florida Veterans’ Hall of Fame Class of 2019 on this well-deserved honor. The Florida Veterans’ Hall of Fame recognizes and honors those military veterans who, through their works and lives during or after military service, have made a significant contribution to the State of Florida through civic, business, public service or other pursuits. They’re part of a distinguished group who committed themselves to serving their state and their community, in addition to their honorable service to our great nation.
